William Keister, Iii

Karl was born July 26, 1956 in Carroll, IA to William K. Keister II and Roberta Ford Keister. He was raised in Coon Rapids and Council Bluffs, Iowa. He got a BBA from the University of Iowa and an MBA from Phoenix University. He worked in the auto industry starting with Ford, then Lexus, and currently for Toyota as an eCommerce Field Specialist. Karl passed peacefully on Wed. Oct. 21, 2015 of melanoma cancer at Porter Hospice. He was 59 years old. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents. He is survived by his father of Council Bluffs, IA; his sister Ellen (Ken) DeVilbiss of Rosemount, MN; 3 nephews, John DeVilbiss of Rosemount, Jason (Ellen R.) DeVilbiss of Loveland, CO; Michael DeVilbiss of Wheatridge, CO; a niece, Kayleen DeVilbiss of Federal Heights, CO; and a great niece & nephew of Loveland.

An open house Celebration of Life will be held Wed. Oct. 28, at the Southridge Rec. Center in Highlands Ranch from 6 to 8:00 p.m. A memorial fund is being set up for his favorite charities.
