William “Scott” Darrow passed away on June 27, 2025, in Boulder, Colorado. He was born on July 11, 1954, to Helen Elizabeth “Betty” Darrow and William “Bill” James Darrow, the first of their four children.
Scott was a devoted father, a loyal friend, and a man of quiet strength and generous spirit. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Leslie Ann Darrow. He is survived by his daughter, Hannah Darrow, and his sisters, Susan Converse and Lynn Miller.
An avid outdoorsman, Scott found his greatest joy in the beauty and peace of nature. Whether hiking in the Colorado mountains, fishing in quiet streams, or simply sitting under an open sky, he was most at home surrounded by the natural world. He believed in the power of the outdoors to restore and connect, and he cherished time spent there with family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, we invite you to honor Scott’s memory by taking a quiet moment in nature. Breathe in the fresh air, listen to the wind through the trees, and think of him.
