Velma Mccray
August 28, 1922 — May 7, 2012
Velma, born in Ft. Supply, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Faye K. and L. C. Smith. She was married to George E. McCray 1918-1999 of Moline, Kansas for 60 years. Velma is survived by her daughters, Sue Barr of Centennial, Colorado and Paula Rea of Aurora, Colorado and a son, George McCray Jr. of Aurora, Colorado. Velma had 3 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild: Charles Barr, Las Vegas, Nevada and Dawn Tata, Parker, Colorado; Jon Rea, Aurora, Colorado and Jacob Rea, Aurora, Colorado.
Velma made friends everywhere she went. She loved her family, her life and her friends and always had a big smile for everyone. She will be truly missed by all... she left a 'legacy of love'.
The family had a private memorial on Mother's Day.
