Torrey N Torbett of Denver, Colorado passed away tragically, and unexpectedly in Denver, Colorado on May 3, 2021

Torrey was a Native of Colorado, born at Fort Carson, Colorado Springs, Colorado to John and Char Torbett on August 12,1977

Torrey is survived by his parents; Char and John Torbett, Janet Torbett, Jerome (Jerry) Beatty; his four children, Kassidi, Tiegan, Richard, Denis, his granddaughter Stella; his two brothers J.J. and Phillip; his 3 grandparents, Lois Torbett, Gisela (Mutz), and Robert (Pops Beatty ); he was very fortunate to have 2 moms & 2 dads, along with many relatives aunts, uncles, cousins, his dear friends & loved ones.

Torrey is on his new journey of life, enjoying all the love, peace, and beauty in the heavens above:

Torrey had his own Story:

He had a Heart made of Solid Gold, filled with tons of Joy, his beautiful dimples and smile the twinkle in his eyes were very inviting, his many beliefs in the Lord, his daily prayers in his soft spoken voice, his strong spiritual energy, Nature of Mother Earth, Native American Traditions, Keeping America Beautiful, his tremendous deep Love for his 4 Children, all the love and respect for all Mankind, the Wild Kingdom, all Living Creatures, our Friendly Pets that come our way in life.

Torrey had many talents along with being an artist, they all grew as he did; his love for cooking, garmache (the art of food), ice carvings, all of his gorgeous detailed art he drew, training certified dogs, the interest he had in astrology especially Leo, rocks, gemstones.

Torrey was a sports enthusiast he had lots of fun; he had a blast skateboarding, playing sports with his brother JJ, building igloo's and playing in the snow, walking to school with his brother in Colorado and Virginia, cross country skiing, taekwondo, his love for camping, hiking, fishing in the Colorado Rockies, working out and weight lifting, The Denver Broncos, and the Denver Nuggets were his favorite sports teams.

Torrey's passions in life were music sharing it with all of his loved ones, singing, dancing, gardening, growing beautiful flowers and plants, woodworking, construction, and mechanic skills. He was extreme about his cleanliness and being organized. Torrey always had a adventure going on, he traveled down many paths and yellow brick roads he had lots of learning experiences in his travels that made him who he was loving, caring sensitive, emotional, positive giving soul.

His love for all his dogs & cats in his life he always held close to his heart. His outlook on life was passionate, positive a very bright lite that would always shine.                                                                                        Torrey’s love for all family, friends and relationships, all mankind came from his heart and soul he valued everyone as a gift to him that was given to him for a special reason. “LOVE”

Torrey had many special nicknames from all his loved ones, Tore, TNT, Tore Tore, T, Toronado, Pokey, the one he gave himself was Sparky when he was a little boy. When Tore was a little boy, he had some special sayings along with unique sounds. The quote he treasured the most was “Love, Peace, & Hair Grease”
