Thomas Elwyn Valentine, 89, passed away on July 5, 2023. Born and raised in Toledo Ohio and after serving in the United States Army, he eventually settled in Richmond Virginia. "TV", as his friends knew him, enjoyed the country music scene, including composing and recording. Many family and friends will remember him with a guitar in his hands. He also enjoyed woodworking and fishing. After retiring from Philip Morris, as a supervisor, he eventually relocated to Mount Juliet Tennessee, to be closer to Nashville.
He is preceded in death by his wife Anita Valentine. He is survived by two sons, Michael Valentine (Karyn) and Steven Valentine (Kathleen), and two stepsons, Anthony Lopez (Angela) and Robert McCrery, brother Frederick Graeter (Janette) and sister Patricia Snyder. He leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank Paula Duke for being such a great caregiver for both Tom and Anita.
