Theresa Juanita Sandoval

In Loving Memory of Theresa Juanita Sandoval, our beloved mother, grandmother and sister, age 82, lifelong resident of Pena Blanca, NM, passed away in Albuquerque, NM Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

Theresa's loving and caring personality was defined by her deep-rooted faith as a devout Catholic. Theresa was a catechism teacher for 20 years and a member of The Blue Army. Let us remember her with fondness and gratitude for having been blessed with her presence in our lives. May her soul rest in eternal peace as we celebrate the life of this remarkable woman whose memory will forever be engraved in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her Loving husband David M. Sandoval parents Vicente and Alvina Hurtado; her brothers, Jerry, Arthur, and Tony Hurtado and sisters, Tita Leyba, and Vicky Bonney. Theresa is survived by her son's Bernard "Quelo" Sandoval, David "Marcos" Sandoval partner Luigi DiCerbo, Gary Sandoval and Ernest Sandoval; two AMAZING grandchildren Brando Sandoval (mother Anna Walker) and Avelina Sandoval (mother Antoinette Vargas, sisters Renee and Cheyenne). Theresa is also survived by her sister Alice Martinez and sister-in-laws Emily Hurtado, Josie Sandoval, and Betty Sandoval.

Catholic Funeral services will be held on May 2nd, 2026 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Pena Blanca, NM. Rosary at 10am followed by a mass at 11am.
