Stuart Lang passed away at his home in Mt Juliet, Tennessee on June 22, 2023, at the age of 51. Stuart Lang was born in Houston, Texas to Mona Black Lang and Harry Stuart Lang, III. Stuart was one of a kind and possessed a witty intellect, along with a humorous and playful spirit. He loved music and enjoyed playing the bass guitar. He had recently been recording ambient nature sounds and various recordings of fellow musician friends. He loved four-wheeling in his truck and flying his drone taking panoramic photographs of the landscape. He also enjoyed yoga, gardening, farmers markets, live music, and stand-up comedy. He spent countless hours volunteering for many causes including homelessness, hospice, food pantries and meal delivery to seniors.
Stuart received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology at the University of Houston in 1996 and completed his Master of Business Association (MBA) in 2001 from University of Houston. He worked hard and had a successful career at AIG/Valic for 23 years as a Financial Planner. He was regarded as a dedicated and conscientious employee.
Stuart is survived by the love of his life and best friend, Sara Wilson Scott, her children, Samantha Dickens (Savion) and Grace Scott (Aidan,) his beloved mother Mona Black Williams, siblings Carla Bradford (Rick) and Melanie Jaeger (Chris), and niece and nephews, Bennett Bradford, Campbell Bradford and Carson Jaeger, and many beloved friends. He is preceded in death by his father Harry Stuart Lang, III and his Ninny.
