Shirley Ann Kringlie

Shirley Ann (Rohde) Kringlie, 92, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away peacefully on June 1st, 2026, at Sky Ridge Hospital. A graveside service will take place at Memorial Gardens in Valley City, North Dakota on September 25, 2026, at 2 p.m. 

Born in Valley City, North Dakota, on April 9, 1934, Shirley graduated from Valley City High School. She began her work life as the society editor for the local newspaper, then was employed as a secretary in the legal, accounting, and medical fields and was valued for her stellar performance. Shirley loved Arabian horses, collecting rocks, playing bridge, eating lutefisk and lefse, and watching sports, especially tennis and football. 

Shirley was preceded in death by her former husband, Gerry. She is survived by her children, Genene Strack, Kathy Reiner, (Seth) and Mickey Kringlie, her six grandchildren: Sara, Anna, Rachel, Kathy, Rebecca, and Jacob, and eight great-grandchildren: Mason, Emmett, Brook, Lily, Gregor, Edie, Katie, and Aspen. 

Shirley will be remembered for her kindness, intelligence, humor, and love for her family.
