Royce Duane Golden

Royce Duane Golden, of Lebanon, TN, passed away unexpectedly with his beloved dog, Bella, at his side, on August 31, 2025. He was 65. Duane was a native of Lawrence County. He is survived by his daughter, Whitney Golden of Montgomery, NY; son, Caylon Golden of Manchester, TN; brothers, Billy Gwynn (Elaine) Golden of Lebanon, TN, and Marc (Kim) Golden of Liberty, MS; sisters, Debbie (Doug) Phillips of Loretto, TN, and Barbie (Randy) Cain of Appleton, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Deserto Golden, and his parents, Billy G. Golden and Evelyn Fulks Golden of Lebanon, TN.

Duane lived a full and warm life, full of humor and generosity. He was a member of the Lebanon congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, having been baptized in 1999. He will be remembered by all for his love of animals, as well as his love for Jehovah God and his son, Jesus Christ. His favorite pastimes were watching westerns and Volunteer football on television, watching deer in his yard, and participating in his Christian ministry. His friends and family will sorely miss his generous spirit, and the watermelons and baked goods he freely distributed to all.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3291 Old Murfreesboro Road, in Lebanon, TN. 37090 at 1pm CDT.
