Ronald Martin

Ronald “Ron” Martin passed in his home in Watkins, Colorado with his family by his side on Jan 2, 2021. Ron was born in Newhall California and moved to Colorado with his first wife.  He lived most of his life in Colorado working as a roofer and later for Federal Express.  Ron met his second wife, Sherry Wood through the Mile High Church of Religious Science and they were both active in the Church.  Together they bred and raised Arabian horses.  He often stated he did not care for horse breeding, but his family has many photos of him lovingly taking care of the foals to contradict him.  Ron is survived by his four sons Chris Martin (wife Patty); James Andrew Martin (wife Vicki); Paul Wood and Tim Wood (wife Sarah) as well as sister Janet Mehr (husband Karl), several grandchildren and one great grand-child.  No services will be held.
