Roger Barton Brooks, born August 8, 1960, passed away on October 28, 2025. He leaves behind his beloved children, John (“Jack”) Brooks and Emma Brooks; his sisters, Nancy Brooks and Barbara Maley; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Jessica Schwed, John Brooks, Casey Prince, and Zan Maley.

Roger was a man of warmth, humor, and deep connection. He loved music, games, and time spent with friends—but above all else, he loved his children. His passion for music and play filled his home with laughter and creativity, and those gifts will continue to live on through Jack and Emma.

Roger had a special way of bringing people together. He stayed in touch, called often, and made everyone feel valued and remembered. His kindness and loyalty touched many lives, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
