Richard Jameson

Dr. Richard F. Jameson, Jr. (Rick), born July 22, 1961 passed away peacefully on February 1, 2023 at age 61.

Rick spent 20+ years of his career in education and administration at the junior high school and high school level where he was able to fulfill his passion for teaching and serving students, faculty, and staff.

In 1989, Rick met his future wife (Chardette) by accident in Boynton Beach, FL. Rick and Chardette then started many life journeys by moving to Southern California, where they lived for 30 years.

In 2017, Rick retired from education and spent his time enjoying his hot dog cart business (Dick’s Dogs) as well as sailing and enjoying hours on end bantering with friends about baseball - mostly the Red Sox.

Rick was predeceased by his parents (Nancy and Richard F. Jameson, Sr.), his beloved grandmother (Arlene Jameson), and several Aunts, Uncles, and family members. He is survived by his wife (Chardette Jameson), brothers Doug and Robert (Bobby) Barrett, and sister Tracy Stephens, as well as many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Per his wishes, no immediate services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests donations be made in his honor to The Red Sox Foundation which serves the community in baseball as well as the Red Sox Scholars program - tying together two of Rick’s favorite things. https://www.redsoxfoundation.org/donate/
