Richard 'Dick' Jack Knox

Richard Jack Knox Sr. June 13, 1937 – May 27, 2025

Richard Jack Knox Sr. (Dick), of Thornton, Colorado, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025, at the age of 87. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Dick lived a full and meaningful life surrounded by the love of his family and friends.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Chris Ann Knox, and their children: Richard Knox Jr. (Rick), and his wife Jody Knox, Beth Lonis and her significant other Victor Cruz, Matthew, and his wife Betty Knox. Preceding him in death were his Father, Gale Knox; Mother, Irene Davis; his Brother, Roger Davis; his Daughter, Rhonda Frisk; and his Grandson, Joshua Knox. Dick was grandfather to Dillon Blazer, Allison Luna, Stefanie Trujillo, and Kailey Knox. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Gracie, Makenzie, Eli Blazer, Harper Luna, ChaeLynn Pitts, and Kylo Bowen.

Dick devoted most of his life as a highly dedicated Christian within the Jehovah's Witness organization, where he was deeply involved and cherished by many.

He worked throughout his life, providing for his family at various entities, with his last employer being United Airlines.

He was also involved with Ham Radio, where he produced results in search and rescue and different humanitarian efforts.

Dick will be remembered for his love for his family, his steady presence, and the legacy he leaves behind through the lives he touched.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 12760 Quebec St. Brighton, Co. 80602, Saturday, June 7th,2025 at 3:00PM
