Reva Ruth Hammond

Reva Ruth Hammond was born on August 27, 1988, in Denton, Texas, to Rocky Ray Ruth and Dina Ruth. Reva, along with her siblings, Misty Hammond and Rocky Ray Hammond, was later adopted by Thomas Grant Hammond and Betty Lou Hammond, who opened their hearts and home to them and raised them with love. Reva passed away on August 2, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, and her brother, Rocky Ray Hammond. She is survived by her son, Keanu Hammond; her mother, Dina Ruth; her sister, Misty Faye Hammond; and her brothers, Thomas Grant Hammond Jr. and Michael Carl Hammond.

Reva grew up in Mississippi and Texas and eventually settled in Colorado. She was a free spirit with a genuine heart, bringing light and a carefree energy to everyone who knew her. She cared deeply about the world and the impact she made in it. Though her path in this life has ended, the positive energy she shared with us will remain forever.
