Paul’s love of the outdoors inspired Paul and Joan to relocate to our beautiful state. He lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed the camaraderie of his motorcycle group as they traveled the countryside and enjoyed the majesty of our great state. One of the highlights of his year was the annual trek to Sturgis which he did for 15 years. As a consummate financial advisor, he represented some of the largest and most respected firms during his 45-year career. After relocating to Colorado, he was recruited to be the branch manager for Piper Jaffray, responsible for three Colorado locations. Most recently, he was part of the Amerprise team servicing the financial needs of his clients. Paul sponsored and gave freely of his time to various civic and charitable organizations: President of the Colorado gun Dog Association. He was also on the Colorado board of TAPS – Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, an organization giving grieving assistance to those who lost a love one in the military and was president of Open Fairways which was dedicated to saving the lives of at-risk kids through golf. He will be missed by his family and friends for all he did and all he gave and for his great sense of humor and hardy laugh. Due to Covid restrictions, a memorial service will be planned for later this year. Donations in his name may be made to TAPS and/or Southwest English Setter Rescue.
