 Eloy was born in Tesuque, NM to Lucas and Cleotilde Benavidez.

 He is survived by his wife Louise, daughter Laura Cabral (Gabe), daughter Susan Benavidez, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, all from Denver, CO, brother Leandro Benavidez (Julia), and sisters Cordelia Ornelas and Inez Sena (Lalo).

Services will be held in Denver, CO.
