Patricia Wallace

July 2, 1929 — February 6, 2023

Denver

Patricia T. Wallace of Denver, Colorado, died on February 6, 2023, at Rose Medical Center with her nephew Peter Bradley and niece Mary-Kathryn Petrone by her side.

Pat was born July 2, 1929, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, the youngest daughter of Salime J. and M. Dorothy Tetrault (Cleary). Pat grew up in Fairhaven, Massachusetts, and was a 1946 graduate of Fairhaven High School. Pat furthered her education by attending The Fay School of Boston.

After attending The Fay School, she worked at CBS in New York City and then at Boston's WBZ-TV.
In 1954 she moved to Denver, where she went to work for KLZ-TV and then United Airlines. When it opened in 1963 Pat was the first manager of the Gloria J Apartments at 833 Dexter Street. Pat would later go to work for The Denver Research Institute, the Denver Health Department, and the Denver court system before retiring in 1982 from Denver's Water Department.

Pat enjoyed knitting, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, and playing the slots at Blackhawk, but her greatest passion was reading. Even as a child, she could be found with her nose buried in a book. The amount of and variety of books in her home library is a testament to her love of reading.

Pat was pre-deceased by her brother Thomas C. Tetrault and her sisters Elizabeth Webster and Dorothy A Bradley.
Left to honor her memory are her nephews Peter Bradley (Springfield, MA), Robert Bradley (Westfield, MA), G. Thomas Bradley (Collinsville, CT), Brian Webster (Merced, CA), Noah Webster (Turlock, CA), and niece, Mary-Kathryn Petrone (Duncan, S.C) and several great nephews and nieces.

Pat requested that her ashes be returned to Fairhaven.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Rose Medical Center and especially her friends Carol Rodenbaugh and Lea Ann Purvis whose help made her final days more comfortable.
