Paige Whitney Richardson Harris
October 12, 1984 - December 25, 2021
Born and raised in Denver, Colorado
It is with deep sadness that the family of Paige Harris announces her passing away unexpectedly and peacefully in her sleep Christmas morning 2021, at the age of 37. We hope some comfort in this devastating announcement can be felt in knowing that when she went to sleep that night in her new home, she was at her happiest, in love, and next to her devoted husband and adored animals.
Her family and friends were everything to her, as she was to them. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her expansive and loving family in Denver CO and Santa Fe NM, and the broad and close circle of friends she always kept near to her heart, where each one felt like her number one.
Paige is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 5 years, Jervay LeRoy Harris.
She is survived by her mother Christine (Tina) Garcia, her father Darren Richardson (Lori), and her sister Allyson Richardson.
Paige is also survived by her grandmothers Fran Johnson (Steve) and Nicki Scheurwater (Bill), her uncles Doroteo Garcia III (Dawna) and Stephen Garcia (Heidi), her aunt Andrea Johnson,
her cousins Dory IV, Segovia, Zane and Evangeline… along with many more dear second cousins, in-laws, great aunts and uncles.
She would surely want us to mention her fur babies, Harlem, Brooklyn, Fig and Luke (RIP Bronx and Remy).
Paige truly lived life to the fullest, and her passion for life will be remembered with love long after her passing. She had the ability to reach people in a deep and positive way, and her cascade of close friendships are a lasting result. She is truly a ‘ride or die’ friend that had your back on all occasions, she would step up to the plate each and every time you needed anything, whether you asked for it or not. She had a beautiful soul and a heart of gold, so much joy in her laughter, her singing, her cooking, her negotiating…everybody has a Paige story or a thousand, whether you’ve known her 37 minutes or 37 years.
Her absolute passion for life, her immeasurable love for her family and friends, her utter devotion to her husband and animals has left a deep impression that will be felt by everyone for all the days ahead. The terribly quiet and sad days ahead. We will all miss you so much.
Our hearts go out to everyone who is also grieving this sudden and terrible loss.
A Celebration of Life memorial is being planned for early spring, details to come.
