Nancy French

Nancy L. French passed away on December 1, 2020. Nancy was born June 26, 1931 in Thomasville, North Carolina to Herbert Franklin Foster Sr. and Gloria Rhu (Jolly) Foster. She was the youngest of three children.

On July 3, 1953 Nancy married the love of her life, Arthur and they enjoyed almost 68 years together. She enjoyed music, camping, fishing, hunting, skiing cooking and baking with and for her husband and family.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Jamie Chalfant and son-in-law Scott; her son John French; 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Doug French and sister-in-law Betty Jo French, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur L. French, her parents, her siblings Herbert Franklin Foster II and Dorothy Ann (Foster) Solomon.

She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
