Nancy Carter, 75 of Highlands Ranch, Colorado unexpectedly passed away on August 5, 2026.

Nancy was born on March 16, 1951 in New Jersy to Stella and John Serdinsky, Sr. Nancy graduated from High School and attended Arapahoe County Community College. It was at Arapahoe County Community College that she met the one true love of her life, Joseph F. Carter. After falling in love, Nancy and Joe were married on August 18, 1973 in Evergreen, Colorado.

During their nearly 53 years together, Nancy and Joe proudly and devotedly raised two children and four grandchildren.

Nancy was a long-time regular parishioner of St. Frances Cabrini Parish in Littleton, Colorado. She dedicated her adult life to spending as much time as possible with Joe, tending to her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens on an annual basis, Making her world-famous birthday meals for immediate family members and providing day care to two of her grandchildren, David and Michael, starting before they entered kindergarten all the way through their respective high school graduations.

Nancy is survived by her husband of nearly 53 years, Joe; her two children, Sheryl (Eric) Kaplan, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Michele (Duane) Cleere of Parker, Colorado, her four grandchildren, David Adams, of Denver, Colorado, Michael Adams of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Tyler Cleere of Aurora, Colorado and Ally Cleere of Parker, Colorado; two Great-grandchildren, Kylan and Rhaea; and her siblings, john Serdinsky, Jr., of Evergreen, Colorado and Priscilla Keenan of Delaware.

Nancy was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Fran Serdinsky.

A Celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at a date and place to be determined.
