Michael Stanley Montoya, 49, went to be with the Lord April 11, 2021. Born May 18, 1971 in Pueblo, CO to Audrey Montoya and Stanley Vigil. Michael lived in Denver and Salida. Salida being one of his favorite places to be, where he could cast a fishing line into the Arkansas river whenever he wanted.
He was a great man and a Jack of all Trades, a diehard Denver Broncos fan and loved going to the games. He loved his dogs; Tonto, Tasha, Tobee, Karson and Rayo, who were like his kids. He was very generous with his time, generous with his tools, and most important generous with his love. He was always willing to lend a hand and spent lots of time in the kitchen sharing his delicious food with all.
His family says of Michael, they will miss his beautiful smile, his personality, his laughter and his everything. They will cherish memories of his life and how he touched each of them with his presence. He will be greatly missed by all.
He is survived by his parents; Tammy Baca-Montoya (the love of his life); Brothers Joseph (Amy) Montoya, Raymond Garcia; Sister Lesley Vigil; “Big Brother” Rick Rogow; Godchildren - Vangelina, Arianna, Joseph, Santiago and Sienna and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
