Michael Lee Lafferty, 46, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away on May 8, 2026.
He was born Michael Lee Graham on April 2, 1980, in Denver, Colorado, to Patricia Lafferty Graham. As a teenager, his friends began calling him by his last name, “Graham,” and the name stayed with him for the rest of his life, even after he changed his last name to Lafferty in 2014.
Michael was an entrepreneur with a creative spirit and a deep love for life. He loved his children, Ashlynn and Declan. He found joy in fly fishing, photography, music, and the Burning Man community. To many, he was known simply as “Graham,” and was known for his kindness, compassion, and non-judgmental heart.
Graham had a wide and varied circle of friends, and he had a gift for making people feel welcomed, accepted, and loved. He was a natural leader who found meaning in serving his community and showing up for the people he cared about. Always ready for a good time, he brought lightness and laughter wherever he went. His infectious laugh, generous spirit, and ability to make even ordinary moments feel fun and memorable will be deeply missed.
Michael is survived by his children, Ashlynn Lafferty and Declan Lafferty; his mother, Patricia Lafferty; and his brother, Jason Graham.
He will be remembered for his loving heart, his adventurous spirit, and the joy he brought to the lives of so many.
