Melinda Kay Howell

Melinda Howell of Aurora, CO was born October 18, 1949 and passed away on November 22, 2024. Preceding Melinda in death are her Daughter Melelia Howell and her grandson DeAndrea Howell mother Stormy Powell father Vernon Barret and stepfather Charles Powell, her 3 siblings Melody Pierce, Sydney Barret, and Rodney Barret, and she has one surviving sister Melisa Evans of Smith Center, Kansas one surviving son Harvey Howell of Aurora Colorado.

She has three surviving grandchildren, Sharlinda Carter of Akron, Ohio, and Anthony Howell of Lakewood, Colorado, Mi-Kale Hayes of Aurora Colorado. She has nine great-grandchildren, and she loved every one of them with all her heart. In her spare time, Melinda loved quilting and volunteering at the Salvation Army, which she had done for over 30 years. She attended church service every Sunday and would say HOT DOG instead of Amen when she prayed and agreed with the minister.

Melinda leaves behind a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.
