Matthew Crespin

Matthew D. Crespin of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully November 26, 2022, with his daughters by his side.  He was 67 years old.

Matthew lived with advanced cancer for the last few years of his life.  He battled the disease with the most amazing attitude, courage, and strength.  He lived every day with positivity and determination not to let it take the beauty out of the final days he was given.

Through the years, Matthew enjoyed fishing, playing golf, art, cheering on the Denver Broncos (he was a die-hard fan!), and spending time with his brothers, daughters and granddaughter.  Everyone who knew Matthew knew that he was an extremely funny, caring, kind, and driven person.  He was a dedicated employee and leader, holding various jobs in retail management at the airport.  He adored, and was most passionate about, his career prior to retirement as a pest control route manager.  Matthew befriended many customers and became like family to them, working with some for nearly a decade.

He is survived by his daughters Macie and Mandee, his granddaughter Sophia, and his great granddaughter Imanni.  Matthew also leaves behind his brothers Mitch, Monty, Mark, and Joe, and his sister Penny, along with many dear friends, coworkers, and customers.  Surely his legacy will live on in their hearts and memories; he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Matthew was predeceased by his father Benny, mother Yolanda, stepfather Gilbert, and brother Marty.

There will be a celebration of life held in his honor on January 14, 2023, at 2:00pm, at Lifegate Church, 10200 E Girard Ave., Building D, Denver, CO 80231
