Mary Lavender

Mary June Lavender, age 92 of Nashville, TN, passed away on December 27, 2021.  Always a staple in the concession stand at Twitty City Ball Park, she fed thousands of players and their families.  She was well known for her hamburgers and milk shakes.  She was a former employee of the county clerk’s office and St. Thomas Hospital.

Preceded in death by husband, Hardy “Jack” Lavender and brother, Joseph “Sonny” Ayers.  Survived by children, Hardy (Janice) Lavender, Tim (Sharon) Lavender, Donna (David) Hudgens, Pam (Terry) McDonald, and Jeff Lavender, 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday January 4, 2022 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Stephen Catholic Community, 14544 Lebanon Road, Old Hickory, TN 37138.  A mass will follow the visitation at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Rose Catholic Church, 1601 North Tennessee Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN  37130.
