Obituary

Mary Ann Kriegh, 72, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2026. She was born September 1, 1954, to Peggy (Hughes) Johnson and Harry Johnson, Sr. in Grand Junction, CO. 

Mary Ann was a creative and giving person at heart. She dabbled in many different art mediums, but best loved sewing, embroidery and cross stitch. An avid gardener, Mary Ann could often be found outside tending to the flowers, whether in her own garden or helping with a friend’s. She was passionate about giving her time and talents to a number of organizations, including schools, Girl Scouts and her church.

She is survived by her two daughters Cynthia (Jake) and Meredith (Brian), her grandchildren Willow, Rayne, River, Delan, and Axel; sister Margaret; and nephews Robbie, Randy and Roger.


A Memorial Service will be held at Simpson United Methodist Church on November 22, 2026, at a time to be determined.
