Mary Hanson

Mary Grace Hanson passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012. Mary was born December 21, 1921 in Hanford, CA the fourth of 5 children. She was raised on a small dairy the daughter of John Miguel from a small Portuguese island and Mary, also born & raised in Hanford.

After graduating from Hanford High School, Mary went to work as a purchasing agent for Kings County in California. It was during this time she met Kenny Hanson who was visiting his mother on his way home post World War II. They were married 5 months later.

Kenny and Mary made their home in Hanford and had 2 children, Jon and Stacy.

Kenny preceded Mary in death in 1986. She is survived by her son Jon Hanson of Hanford, CA, daughter Stacy and son in law Mike Gallagher, grandson Gabe Brennan, and granddaughter Hannah Brennan all of Denver.

Mary was blessed with a long life filled with dear family, countless friends, and bountiful memories filled with love. She will be missed beyond description.

Memorial Service, Monday, April 2, 2012, 11:00am, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 South Colorado Blvd.
