Mary Anne Randall

May 31, 1941 — August 15, 2025

Boulder

Mary Anne (Hogan) Randall, 84, of Boulder, CO, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025, after a brief illness.

Mary Anne was born May 31, 1941, in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Holy Spirit High School (Atlantic City, NJ) in 1959 and attended Rosemont College in Rosemont, PA. She lived most of her life in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, California, and Colorado.

Mary Anne was a humble woman, but an incredibly multi-talented and creative individual with a sly sense of humor. A brilliant businesswoman, she worked in grant writing and business administration for Cape May County, NJ, Princeton University, Stanford University, and the University of Florida. As a gifted artist, she created in multiple media: drawing, painting, pottery, professional photography, sewing, quilting, organic gardening, scratch cooking, and baking. A dedicated mother and wife, she crafted both for her family and community—from designing holiday parade floats in South Jersey to teaching photography, silk screening, quilting, antique quilt appraisal, and quilt history.

After retiring in 2016, Mary Anne moved to Boulder, Colorado, to be closer to family. A loyal friend and neighbor, she was a lover of good food, great wine, and laughter, and developed many close friendships during her time at Golden West.

Mary Anne was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Marguerite Hogan, and her older siblings Frank and Peggy. She is survived by her children, Chris Randall of Seattle, WA, Polly Flint (George Flint) of Orlando, FL, and Ali Randall (John Johnson) of Boulder, CO; and three grandchildren: Sarah Randall, Clara Flint, and Maddie Flint, as well as many grand-dogs and grand-cats.

Mary Anne deeply valued her privacy and requested no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, and to honor her legacy and her love of nature, our family invites you to make a meaningful contribution to the Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Your support will help continue the compassion toward animals that she showed throughout her life.
