Marilyn Dieckhoff

March 19, 1948 — June 10, 2012

Marilyn JoAnn Dieckhoff
Born in Denver Colorado on March 19, 1948
Departed on June 10th 2012.

Marilyn was 64 years old, of Conifer, Colorado. She is survived by her 5 children: Marty Lu Leibbrandt Merryman, Brad Barb March, Leslie Don Marshall Jones, Jeff Jones and Gary Carlin. She has 10 grandchildren: Amanda David Stanwood, Lauren Clark Martin Merrymen, Billy Merryman, Dustin Merryman, Mariah Merryman, Jackie March, Gracie March and Samantha March, Alexandra Marshall and 3 great grandchildren: Lily Stanwood, Olivia Clark and Sheyanne Merryman, including a large extended family.

She was a loving mother who always put her children before herself. A mentor and great friend to many. She was witty and had an incredible sense of humor. She loved Janis Joplin, Meatloaf and Billy Idol. She loved Craft Fairs and Art Shows. She made jewelry and crafts. There wasn't a Vampire book or movie that she didn't read or watch, as everyone that knew her knows, her favorite food was chocolate. Marilyn worked for Martin Marietta, Quest and ULA since moving back to Denver in 1984. A informal Scattering Service will be held on June 22, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Mount Lindo, 5928 South Turkey Creek Road, Morrison, Colorado, 80465. Per Marilyn's wishes, the family will be accepting donations in lieu of flowers and in her own words, "nobody gets to sit on the piss pot!", a party is to follow immediately at her daughter's home.

The family would like to say thank you to the countless friends of Marilyn's, as well as their own and The Denver Hospice for making Marilyn's last few months comfortable.

She was loved by many and will be missed immensely, it's not good bye, just until next time.
