Marie Reba

Marie Elizabeth Reba, 82, of Parker, Colorado, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 20th.

Marie was born on November 11, 1939, in Camden, NJ to Albert and Elizabeth Frey.  After graduating from Baltimore’s Mount de Sales Academy in 1957, She attended Baltimore Junior College where she met the love of her life, Howard. They married in 1959, had two sons, and enjoyed 59 wonderful years together, until Howard’s passing in 2018.

Marie and Howard lived a life of adventure, moving ten times throughout their marriage as Howard’s careen took him from Baltimore to Florida, Colorado, New Jersey, Washington State, and back to Maryland again, before they ultimately retired in their beloved Colorado.

Marie loved reading, supper club with friends, and her vacations to New England and Mackinac Island, but she was happiest spending time with her family, especially her five grandchildren.  She loved hosting the family for the holidays and was known as an extremely thoughtful and generous gift giver, usually having her Christmas shopping done by Labor Day.

Marie is survived by her sons, Jeff and Gary and her grandchildren, Chelsea, Scott, Emily, Alex, and Erin. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Elizabeth and her sister, Susan.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 14th at 12:00pm at Ave Maria Catholic Church in Parker, CO.  In lieu of flowers, the family invited you to make a donation in her honor to Joslin Diabetes Center (www.joslin.org/support-joslin).
