Luray Delgado

Luray was born to Edumenio Eddie and Adelaide Della Ortiz in Denver, CO in 1943. She was raised with her older sister, Priscilla Aragon and younger brother, Tom Ortiz. She attended parochial schools, graduating from Annunciation High School in 1962. She married her high school sweetheart, Ed Delgado, to whom she was married for over forty-nine years. Together they raised three children of their own, and she lived to love and adore eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In 2010, Luray celebrated her retirement from a 27-year career with State Farm Insurance. She and Ed recently realized long-time dreams of travelling, taking a Caribbean cruise with close friends. She also recently attended her 50th High School Reunion.

Luray cherished her family and friends, and her emotions ran deep. She experienced the joys and sorrows that this life has to offer and held the hands of others along the way. She played countless roles in our lives and was giving of her love, compassion, and her straightforward, sincere advice. Luray is loved, and she will be dearly missed. We take comfort in knowing that she has been taken to God's Heavenly Kingdom.

Luray is preceded in death by her father, Edumenio Eddie Ortiz and her brother, Tom Ortiz.

She is survived by her Husband, Ed Delgado, Children, Lorina Delgado, Robin Chavez & Jeff Delgado, Grandchildren, Rich Bender, Charlie Chavez, Nicole Chavez Bender, Elsie/Louis Chavez, Charise Chavez, Thomas Delgado, Aaron Delgado & Cailyn Delgado
