Lisa Humphreys 59, or Kiowa Colorado, passed away peacefully in Englewood Colorado on August 11, 2025, due to natural causes.

Lisa was born in Cedat City Utah, to Joseph Samuel “Sam” Lister and Mary Garna Wilson on September 28, 1965. Throughout her early life she spent time in Utah, California and Idaho. Lisa and her son Travis met Micheal on a family and friends camping trip to Island Park, Idaho. They would go on to get married the following year and settle in Kiowa, Colorado where they started raising cows and horses and planted a garden. The three of them became a loving and caring family. Their family continued to grow with the birth of their sons, Matthew and Cody. Lisa was an animal lover and that could be seen in the love she had for her beautiful chocolate labs, Coco, Dusty and Sweet Annie. Lisa enjoy camping, fishing, traveling and baking, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Lisa and Mike had just celebrated their 29th Wedding Anniversary in August.

Lisa will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Though her journey on earth has ended, the legacy of her caring and loving nature for all will continue to inspire each and every one of us. May our beloved Lisa rest in peach, Cowgirl ride away.

Lisa is survived by her beloved husband, Mike Humphreys; her sons, Matthew Humphreys, Cody Humphreys, and her cherished grandson, Grayson Thomas; Her mother Mary Wilson, Sister Mary Jo (Barry) Hales, Brother Frank (Sydney) Lister, Bernadine Humphreys, David (Jackie) Humphreys, Denise (Corvin) Welham, James Humphreys, and Laura (Jake) Wadley. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and friends who will forever remember her kindness and generosity.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father Sam Lister and her son, Travis Thomas.

Lisa chose to be cremated; a celebration of life will be held at a later date in St. George, Utah.
