Kathryn Scott

Kathryn (Vering) Scott of Denver, CO, and Scottsdale, AZ, passed away on May 7, 2023, from pancreatic cancer. Kathy was born July 25, 1948, in Marysville, Kansas, to Marcel and Helen Vering.  She is mourned by her husband of 54 years, Robert Scott, children Niki (David) MacLean, Amy (Bryan) Cook, and Taylor (Lisa) Scott, grandchildren Simon, Madeleine, Anna, Eleanor, and Margaret MacLean, Hannah and Charlie Cook, and Jack Scott. She is also survived by her siblings, Greg, Kevin and Chris Vering, and Janelle Burlin, and in-laws Wanda Scott, Joyce Scott, and Kathy and Steve Sinclair. A funeral mass and reception will be held at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, Marysville, KS, on May 15, 2023, at 10:30 am.

A celebration of life has been scheduled for 11:00 am, June 26, 2023, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 3959 East Iliff Avenue, Denver, CO 80210 (www.mpbdenver.org).
