Kathy Lived 72 years, 6 Months

Kathryn Ann Myhre was born May 27, 1953, at Mobridge, SD to Roy and Dorothy (Ackerson) Myhre. She dies November 26, 2025. She was welcomed home by her big brother Alton. Three years later she became a big sister to Robert. Kathy spent her youth in Mobridge and graduated from Mobridge High School with the class of 1971. She married Gary Zeller in December of that year. To that union two children were born, Krista Lee and Justin Roy. They divorced and Kathy moved to Rapid City in 1979 to attend Western Dakota Vo Tech where she studied for and attained her LPN license. She worked for 9 years as a nurse at the Bell Fourche Long-term Care unit where she enjoyed her job and loved all the residents like they were family.  July 22, 1989, she married Russell Fox.  She moved herself and her two children to Russell's family ranch west of Redig, SD. To that union one child was born Falon Kay.

Kathy was very creative and always had a project she was working on, she could crochet, knit, sew, quilt, bead, and paint ceramics (something she started with her mother and nieces when she was young). She was a member of the Smiling Thru extension club with her mother-in-law Eunice. She built miles of buffalo fence with her husband Russell and father-in-law Lloyd. She love music and especially enjoyed watching and listening to the band her husband drummed in, New County Revue. She was an excellent dancer, a skill she learned from her father Roy, and she loved water, growing up swimming in Lake Oahe. Summer was her favorite season; she was never too hot. Kathy took her older kids to Orman Dam when they were young to soak up sun and later her younger daughter to the Lone Mountain Rendezvous her and Russ helped host in the hills behind their house.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Dorothy, older brother Alto Heib, and Russell. She is survived by her brother Robert (Pam) Myhre, Las Vegasm NV, daughter Krista (Ben) Wegner, Gordon, NE, Son Justin Zeller, Council Bluffs, IA, daughter Falon Fox, Keenesburg, CO. Grandchildren, Benjamin (Montana) Wegner, Gordon NE, Brandon Koch-Zeller, LaVista, NE Joshua (Erin) Wegner, Rosholt, WI, Stella Wegner, Gordon, NE, great granddaughter Paisley, great grandsons Levi and Everett and twin great granddaughters Eleanor and Lydia, special nephew Mick (Jane), numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
