Katherine Jane Hyer

October 10, 1942 — March 10, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Katherine Hyer announces her falling asleep in death, with family at her bedside on Sunday, March 10, 2024. Kathie was born 10/10/1942 in Kansas. Kathie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Kathie was preceded in death by her parents, sister, daughter and a lifelong friend. Kathie is survived by her devoted and loving husband Paul, 3 sons and their spouses: Thomas and Betsy Hyer, Ronald and Linda Hyer, Jonathan and April Hyer. Kathie had 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren whom she loved and cherished. Kathie was known for her delicious homemade meals, and her ability to brighten everyone's day.

Kathie has been a Jehovah witness for 60 years. She served Jehovah with her whole heart every day, teaching the Good News of Jehovah's Kingdom.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 2 p.m. at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Bailey, CO.
