Kari Padilla

On Thursday August 19, 2021, Kari Padilla, loving wife and mother passed away at the age of 59.
Kari and her husband, Danny were married for 39 years and raised 3 children.
Kari was a special education para for 20+ years in Denver Public Schools. She loved her students and they her. She dedicated countless hours to their education and personal needs. She often bought coats, hats, gloves, clothes and school supplies for them when needed. She even has one student who still refers to her as “Mom”.
She is survived by her husband, Danny and 3 children, Daniel, Tessa and Kobe, by her mom and dad, Mike and Pat Shaffer, her brother Craig (Nancy) and sister Kim (Tony), 2 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
