Karen Sue Deihimi, a cherished mother, grandmother, daughter and sister passed away on January 26, 2024, in Denver, Colorado. Born on December 27, 1955, Karen's life was defined by love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family.
Karen was a loving mother to her daughters, Courtney Deihimi and Sarah Nestlehut, who meant the world to her and entrusted her care in their partners, Kris Barman and Michael Nestlehut. She was a loving grandmother to Madeleine and Oliver Nestlehut. Her ex-husband, Mehdi Deihimi, remains a devoted father to their children.
A resident of Denver, Karen found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from exploring Las Vegas to embracing the tranquility of the desert. Her beloved dog, Riley, was her faithful companion and source of endless happiness.
Karen's compassionate spirit and love for dogs, movies, makeup, activism, and music enriched the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, thoughtfulness, and commitment to making a difference in the world.
A celebration of Karen's life will be held on March 1st 2024 at 11am at Hosanna Church in Littleton, Colorado. (10304 W Belleview Ave, Littleton, CO 80127).
