I'm sad to say Jutta "Judy" Renate Deaton, 91 years old died on October 28, 2026, in Gallatin, TN. She was born on February 8, 1935, in West Berlin, Germany.

Preceded in death by her parents Wilhem & Else "Tina" Kramp of Prussia & Germany respectively, as well by her husband of 71 years, Vaughn Deaton, originally from Quebeck, TN. Survived by her children Belinda Lackey of Goodlettsville, TN & Brian Deaton of Hermitage, TN. Survived by her only grandchild Jeremy Lackey of Greenbrier, TN.

Judy has lived many places all over the world, including the United States of America thanks to her husband who was 20 years Air Force. Their final home was in Gallatin, TN. Judy worked for about 6 years in a brokerage firm while her children were in high school. Otherwise, she was always a Homemaker. She loved to cook & sew, while her favorite pastime was cleaning house.

In accordance with Judy's wishes, cremation has taken place.
