John “Michael” Cowdin

John “Michael” Cowdin passed peacefully Monday, May 18, 2026, surrounded by love and light. He will be greeted by his Grandmother Gertrude, Aunt Evelyn, 1st wife Mary, mother of his daughter, Melynda Anne and his recently deceased wife Barbara. His memories will be carried on by his brother Patton, sister Shirley, daughter Melynda, sons Jason and Adam and grandchildren Liam, Eli, Emerson, Vivi, Dillard, and Hazel along with numerous friends and chosen family. We will be celebrating his life with a service and potluck reception, family will provide sandwiches, Tuesday, June 9th, 2026, at 5pm, at the Rio Grande Center for Spiritual Living, 2404 San Mateo Pl NE. This will also be streamed Live on YouTube @riograndecenterforspiritua353 for those who are unable to attend.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, National Multiple Sclerosis Society or your local animal shelter.
