Jill C. Dacus.

Jill was born as Jill C. Nelson in Denver, Colorado on August 22, 1934 to John E. Nelson and Gladys Nelson. While enrolled at South High School Jill met her husband and lifelong love Kermit M. Dacus. Jill and Kermit were married for over 50 years, until Kermit passed in 2005. Jill was a follower of Jesus Christ and her faithful life was her enduring testimony.  Jill was always an accomplished crafter and athlete, who could do whatever she put her mind to.  She became an avid golfer late in her life, dominating many other lady golfers in league play and accumulating 3 holes-in-ones on local Denver courses.

On December 30, 2023, at the age of 89, Jill went home peacefully and quietly to meet her loving Savior and a wonderful reunion and celebration with Kermit, family and friends.  Jill was a strong, capable and amazing daughter, sister, wife, aunt, friend, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by 4 children, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Jill is also survived by her loving church family at Family Worship Center, as well as many other relatives and friends.  We know Jill is waiting in glory to see us all again, and that her full and long life was honored and blessed by her Lord.
