Jayden Phillips

March 13, 2003 — October 18, 2021

Jayden Lee Phillips was born on March 13, 2003 to Lisa Phillips in Aurora, CO. He was raised with his younger brother Donnie who he loved more than anything. He attended Aurora Public Schools and received his GED at Lookout Academy last spring.

Jayden was a very happy baby, always making us laugh with his personality and cute sayings. As a child he loved trucks, legos, and riding his bike. He was obsessed with the trash truck and would run to go see it as soon as it could be heard. He also loved to watch construction trucks in action. As he got older he played football for the Lions and played basketball as well.

He loved to go “adventuring” with his grandpa, catching crawdads, enjoying the outdoors and one time they even went kayaking on the Platte River. Afterward, he said that was the best day of his life. He and his grandfather were very close, he was Jayden’s hero. As a teen he enjoyed video games and just spending time with his friends laughing and hanging out. He was very loyal to those close to him.

Jayden’s proudest accomplishments included receiving his GED, getting into the culinary program, and most recently passing his driving test to get his license. He was very happy to have a car and gain some independence. But his passion became music. He was very talented and wrote many, many songs that he was in the process of recording.

Jayden entered into eternal paradise on October 18, 2021. His memory will be forever cherished by his mother Lisa Phillips; brothers Donnie & Teshai; sisters Teaira & Leykin; bonus sister Deja; grandparents Rodney & Jill; great-grandmother Sybil; uncles Kevin & David; aunt Kim; cousin Genesis; best friend Taymon; girlfriend Renee and many other family and friends.
