Jason Benjamin Hanson, 50, of Englewood Colorado, passed away unexpectedly Thursday August 20th 2026, in his home.

Jason was born in Norfolk Virginia on October 15th 1975, and is the son of the late Benjamin Forrest Hanson and Patricia Ann Hanson. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his sister April Hastings and brother-in-law Richard Ashley Sr.

He is Survived by two sisters, May Campen(husband, Webb) of Edenton, NC and Hollie Bear of Clever, Missouri; Step Mother JoAnn Hanson of Hertford NC; nieces and nephews: Rick, Steve, Brityn, Brooke, Nile, Michael, Autumn; several great nieces and nephew's; and a large extended family. Jason also leaves behind his brother's and sister's in Christ at Calvary Chapel Cherry Creek (4C).

A service celebrating his life will be held Saturday, September 19th, at 11:30am in Calvary Chapel Cherry Creek, Centennial Colorado, and will be conducted by Pastor Dave Ragan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Calvary Chapel Cherry Creek, Centennial Colorado.
