James Warttman

James Samuel Warttman, 86 of Aurora, Colorado passed away November 5th, 2020. Jim was born on February 14th, 1934 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He served in the Coast Guard before marrying his wife Sandy on January 4th, 1958. They lived in Duluth and Hermantown Minnesota, where they raised three sons before finding home in Aurora, Colorado. Jim was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Claire Warttman, his son Ron, and his beloved wife Sandy. Jim is survived by his sisters Mavis Graves and Joan Olziewski; his sons Don (Jeanne) and Ken (Dana); grandchildren Marlene (David) Manion, Bobby, Joey (Beth), Jennifer, Brian, and Tyler Warttman, along with four great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and wonderful friends. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
