Gregg Miller

May 17, 1954 — August 30, 2021

Centennial, CO

On Monday, August 30th, 2021, Gregg Gordon Miller passed away at the age of 67.

Gregg was born to Clare and Richard Eckhoff in Burlingame, California, on May 17, 1954. Early in life Gregg was adopted by Don Miller. Gregg grew up in Hillsbourgh, CA, where he attended local schools. He graduated from U of Southern Mississippi with a double major in Political Science and Psychology.

Gregg married the love of his life, Nancy Wanstrath on April 11th, 1992. They were blessed with two beautiful children Jennifer (Jenny) and Paul.

Several years ago Gregg was united with his unknown son, Joey Perry. They developed a wonderful relationship and have remained very close. Joey is married to Kelly. They have three children Kurt, Ella and Bruce and live in Arkansas.

Gregg worked at Visa Inc. for over 18 years as a Senior QA and Software Configuration Analyst in Foster City, CA, and in Highlands Ranch, CO, where he met many lifelong friends. Gregg was very fortunate to retire 5 years ago and enjoy life.

He was a huge San Francisco 49ers and San Francisco Giants fan. He was a collector of football cards, hat pins and loved playing fantasy football. He was also a covert fan of the Denver Broncos.

Gregg had a passion for music and loved attending concerts. In fact, he took his daughter Jenny to her first Britney Spears concert at the age of 7. Nancy and Gregg would frequent Black Hawk for their mini vacations to play the slot machines and occasionally visited Las Vegas.

His greatest joy was spending time with his family and his dog Kaya. Whether it was taking road trips, talking on the phone, watching football, playing chess, board games or putting together complex puzzles is where he loved to be.

Gregg is survived by his wife Nancy, his children, Joey, Jenny and Paul, his grandchildren Kurt, Ella, and Bruce, his mother Clare Tower, his siblings Marcy Johnson (Archie), Grant Tower III, Robin (Steve) Walters, Shelly (Kevin) Markley, Rosalind (Elliott) Achkar, Kent Eckhoff, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his both of his fathers Richard Eckhoff and Don Miller and sibling Glenn Eckhoff.

We will all miss his calm cool demeanor, that deep voice, and the way he truly cared about everyone. There will be a Celebration of Life in Centennial, CO, and in the San Mateo, CA, at a later date.
