Ferdinand Michael Boddeker

Ferdinand Michael “Mike” Boddeker, 77, of Cottontown, TN went to be with our Lord on September 4, 2025, surrounded by his wife and kids. Mike was born January 9, 1948, in Tampa, Florida to the late Ferdinand and Gloria Boddeker of Texas. He married his wife, Mary Louise Bell on October 9, 1971. They enjoyed riding horses and gathering with friends. Mike spent most of his life working as a carpenter. He served his country in the Army Rangers from 1966 - 1976, and was a Vietnam Veteran.

In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Louivere. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Louise Boddeker of Cottontown, TN; 2 children, Mikey Boddeker of Lebanon, TN and Shiella Amons of Cottontown, TN; 2 grandchildren, Amber Amons of Cottontown, TN and Jake Eden of Illinois; sister, Anita (Doug) Lee; 2 brothers-in-law, Raymond (Irma) Bell of Texas and David Johnson of Gallatin, TN; nephew, Douglas Louivere; and great nephew, Tariq Rodgers of Hartsville, TN and several other nieces and nephews from out of state.

A memorial service will be held in Mike’s honor at a later date.
