We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Eric Gabriel Tapia, age 46, of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Eric was a beloved husband, son, brother, and uncle, known for his kind soul and gentle personality, a big heart, and sense of humor.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shamara Tapia; his parents, Ralph and Beatrice Tapia; his sisters, Mitzie Tapia and Lisa Tapia; and his brother, Ralph (Eva) Tapia, along with his many nieces and nephews.

Eric touched the lives of everyone who had the honor of knowing him. His selflessness, warmth, and generous spirit will be remembered forever. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that lives in all of us.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 17th, 2026, at St. Anne’s Parish, Santa Fe, New Mexico. 

The Rosary will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.

He will be greatly missed and will forever remain in our hearts.
