Ellis Gallegos

Ellis R. Gallegos, 51, a resident of Espanola and Gallina, New Mexico, joined our Heavenly Father on June 28, 2018 after a brief illness. Ellis was born November 19, 1966 In Cuba, New Mexico to Alfredo and Lena Gallegos. He was a loving, kind hearted, and friendly person. Ellis was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Prisciliano and Cidelia Gallegos; maternal grandparents, Eduardo and Luisa Martinez; parents, Alfredo and Lena Gallegos; brother’s Leroy and Gerald Gallegos, and sister Carol Gallegos.

He is survived by two sons Johnny and Derek Gallegos of Espanola; and a daughter Cheryl Gallegos Lucero and husband Josh Lucero of Rio Rancho, one grandson Johnathan Lucero; mother of his children Janice Romero of Espanola; sisters; Lorraine Dosten and husband Moses of La Mesilla; Eileen Romero and husband David of Espanola; Jeannie Hernandez and husband Javier of Las Cruces, brothers; Joe and Eddie Gallegos of Gallina. Numerous nephews and nieces and partner, Concha Herrera.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday evening July 3, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at:
