Donna Jeanne Schmidt

Donna Jeanne Schmidt, born April 28, 1955, passed away at home on October 16th, 2024. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Elizabeth Christian Bankston, and her cherished son, George Jacob Schmidt, and brothers Richard Schmidt and Ed Schmidt. 

Donna was a passionate mother and grandmother, giving her all to her family, whom she loved deeply. An avid CrossFit enthusiast, she embraced life with energy and joy. Donna was also a devoted animal lover, sharing her home with a loyal boxer and two affectionate cats.

A resident of Centennial, Colorado, Donna found solace in the mountains, with fond memories of her time spent in Estes Park, Evergreen, and Breckenridge. She had a special knack for making every moment with her grandchildren feel like a lavish event, often spoiling them with love and joy.

In lieu of a funeral or memorial service, we encourage friends and family to honor Donna’s memory by donating to an animal shelter or treating their grandchildren to a special outing.
