DELFINO V. MONTOYA
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Delfino V. Montoya on October 17, 2023. Born September 30, 1962, in Santa Fe. Del Passed away peacefully in his family home.
Del was preceded in death by his parents, Tony Montoya (Father), Josie Lucero Thompson (Mother), and Robert Thompson (Stepfather). He was also preceded by his best friend and brother, Leroy V. Montoya.
Del will always be remembered for his loving heart and willingness to help others. He will forever remain in our hearts cherished by his family & friends.
Del is survived by five children: Anthony Montoya, Ricky (Brittney) Montoya, Laura (Joshua) Nunn, Robert Montoya, Michael (Celeste Sandoval) Montoya, Five grandchildren : Damion Montoya, Madilynn Montoya, Milianna Nunn, Julian Nunn, and Zayvian Montoya. Three siblings: Mike (Sue) Montoya, Evelyn (Danny Baca) Perea, Annette (Adrian) Martinez. Former wife Esther Montoya and Mother of his two youngest boys Ellen Apodaca. He also leaves behind many beloved cousins, nephews, nieces, family, and friends.
Services will be held at St. Anne's Parish, Santa Fe, NM on Thursday, November 2,2023, with the Rosary at 9:00 a.m., Mass at 10:00 a.m., and catholic burial will follow at Rosario Cemetery.

The Family of Del Montoya has entrusted the care of their beloved one to Avista Cremation & Burial "where healing begins."
