Deborah M. Gentile, age 61 of Morrison, Colorado passed away peacefully at home on July 24th after a lengthy battle with ALS.

 Born on August 23rd, 1964, in Medford, Oregon, Deb was the daughter of Richard and Martha Miller. Her father’s career in the Forest Service took the family from Oregon to Wisconsin and ultimately to Maryland, where she graduated from Severna Park High School.

 A proud Hokie, Deb graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in finance which she used to start her own business, Alpine Accounting Solutions. She provided meticulous and professional services to a wide range of clients, from law firms large and small, to the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum, and many others.

 As a dedicated military spouse, Deb lovingly cared for her two young boys while her husband Glen was on active duty in the Air Force and often deployed. Deb handled moving the family from Arizona, Florida, Virginia, New Jersey and finally Colorado with confidence and a true sense of adventure. They found their forever home in Morrison, Colorado in 2013.

 Deb lived a life defined by dedication to family, friendship, and fun. She enjoyed camping, hiking, biking, running, golf, cooking, travel, music, and most of all skiing. An avid and accomplished skier, her perfect day would be on the slopes in Colorado with her family and friends. Deb started playing golf later in life as a member of Red Rocks Country Club. In her first year, she was named “Most Improved Golfer” and achieved not one, but two holes-in one within 10 months! In addition to golf, Deb enjoyed Orange Theory Fitness, where she made new friends and worked out almost daily for many years.

 Deb lived her active life with joy, whether it was going to concerts, sporting events, family trips, or hosting epic kitchen dance parties, she was all in. Her infectious positivity and beautiful smile would light up the room anywhere she went.

 Deb is survived by her husband of 37 years, Glen; her sons Jeff (Emily Hewitt); Daniel (Arianna Preuss); grandson Locke; brother Carl (Gina Gentile Miller); and her mother Martha. She was preceded in death by her father Richard Miller.

 A Celebration of Life will be held on August 16th at 2:00 pm at Red Rocks Country Club, located at 16235 W Belleview Ave, Morrison, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to ALS United Rocky Mountain and/or The Denver Hospice in Deb’s honor.
